Terms and Conditions

Cradle Mountain Day Tour:

As Cradle Mountain is an exposed highland area, the weather can change very quickly from warm to cold and wet in just an hour or so. Safety and your enjoyment are paramount and if we consider the conditions are unsuitable or unsafe we will either modify our day tour to areas that are not subject to extreme conditions or we may cancel the tour. If we cancel a tour you will receive a full refund of your tour cost.

Clients will need warm clothing, including a fully waterproof jacket. It is suggested that you bring gloves and headwear (hat). Footwear should fully enclose the feet if you intend to undertake any form of walk in
the area. High heels and thongs (flip-flops) are totally unsuitable.

Freycinet Day Tour:

Although not a highland area, you should still come prepared for a sudden change in the weather and a lightweight windproof/waterproof jacket is desirable to be carried with you. It is important to cover exposed skin and your head when it is a sunny day as the ultra-violet light in Tasmania due to our clear air is very strong. If swimming or sunbathing, you should apply some good quality sunscreen.

All Tours:

It is suggested you bring a lightweight day-pack and also a bottle of drinking water (minimum half a litre). Hotel/Guest House/Back Packer Hostel pickups: We commence picking up our guests at 0700 for all tours. Please be outside your hotel from 7am. If you are not outside your hotel, we do not have time to go looking for you as we have other guests to collect and a schedule to follow. No refund is available if you fail to turn up on the day of your tour. Please be patient as you group may be our last pickup. If you provide an Australian mobile phone number when you book this will help us and we can contact you if we have an unavoidable delay.
