Transport for Fly Fisherman.
Outdoor Recreational Transport in conjunction with Central Highlands Lodge www.centralhighlandslodge.com.au can offer you the perfect short break from the city. Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced angler the highlands lakes of Tasmania is one of the finest fishing locations in Australia.
However, our role is to get you to your destination. If you want invaluable local knowledge or wish to avail your self of private tuition or simply be shown the best fishing spots by one of the experienced local guides, then please contact the friendly staff at the Central Highland Lodge.
Outdoor Recreational Transport have buses regularly travelling the highland roads taking both bush walkers and those wishing to walk & fish between Launceston & Lake St. Clair. We can offer you a reasonably priced transport package to & from Launceston. You have the choice of a private dedicated charter (minimum 2 clients) to our less expensive “Standby” service where by checking our message board you can take advantage of travelling on the same bus as our bushwalking friends & be either dropped off or picked up at the Central Highlands Lodge on one of our regular trips between Launceston & Lake St.Clair.
PRICES:
For a private charter (at a time to suit you) we can offer a drop off & return package from either Launceston City (your accommodation) or Launceston Airport at the following rates:- 1 Client: $385.00
- 2 Clients: $198.00 each.
- 3 Clients: $155.00 each.
- 4 Clients: $130.00 each.
- 5 Clients & over: $110.00 each.
Example:
Already picking up 2 passengers that day and you wish to travel on that bus the fare will be $85.00 (single). If there are two of you then the fare will be $65.00 each. This one way fare is, therefore, based on the final total of passengers we will be carrying that day.
